Just curious why if both of his parents were born Faulkners his surname is Adams. I'm' adding the connections to my Ancestry tree and want to make sure I have them correct. Thanks.

I found the answer on Ancestry. His biological father was Lt. John Adams, not Francis Faulkner. This should be corrected this Geni profile so the connections made on Geni are correct.
