I am seeking to connect online with people who have Aleknavicius ancestors from Meskuciai, Alytaus. My grandfather is Joseph Juozapas Aleknavicius born 21 NOVEMBER 1880 in Meskuciai. The Epaveldas records are from Nedzinge. His parents were Kristupas Aleknavicius and Elena Remeikaite. He had many siblings and I hope to find some connections.
I would also welcome connecting with any of this Aleknavicius family who emigrated to the USA. My grandfather (Joseph) settled in New Jersey, USA and changed his name to "Adams." I believe he lived a very short time in Pennsylvania, USA (around 1910) and wonder if he had relatives in that area.
