According to the College of Arms Sir Nicholas Putnam of Stewkeley Was not a knight Nicholas Putnam, of Stewkeley

It looks like the title of knight came about from a merge in 2016. The profile is locked and only a curator can remove his title and display name.

Ok thank you just wanted to make sure it was known he wasn't a Knight.

Thank you for helping get this family lineage sorted out. Ive been trying to do the same on wikitree but no one seems interested in my findings. Im waiting to see what the College of Arms has to say about it. Im tired of this covid slowing everything down but it is what it is.
