I found a marriage record for Mary Woodhall to William Bird or Byrd or Byrde 02 June 1561 in Saffron Walden, Essex. He could not have been born c 1585. Their children were William, George, and Mary Byrd who married a Kyng/King.

Mary Woodhall m2 her cousin William Woodhall. She also had children with William Woodhall because they are mentioned in her father's will - Debora, Elizabeth, Mary, Edmond, Dorothy, Jane, Katherine, Johane, and Grindall Woodhall). [Salmon, History of Essex, p. 142]. Mary died in 1613. The will praises William Woodhall for his loving care of Mary's children by her first husband, William Byrd. The children are mentioned by name.
