A number of folks, including curators are trying to clean up the Hudson line, Looks like its been merged to death.

The FamilySearch site https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LK19-69N looks like a good place to brig it all back to.
Does anyone have any better ideas.

If its agreed I willing to I will do that.

At quick glance, the FamilySearch profile you linked looks like it has the same issue -- the cited sources rely on Ancestry trees, Civil War pension files (!), etc. I'm not sure we'd want to follow it too closely.

We'd probably have to pick a central starting point, like Richard here, and then research each profile individually, trying to locate valid sources for each person and relationship. I'm already doing that with a chronically mismerged Colonial Connecticut family at the moment, but I can try to help.

Are there any journal articles about him? That's often a good way to repair Southern trees.
