I can't find this topic but I'm sure it's in here somewhere - Multi Paths

Some historic figure from the 14th century is one of my 28th Great Grandfathers. But by another path he is also a 26th Great Uncle (slightly less interesting than the first tidbit).

How does Geni decide which of these paths to display? I've seen them both for the same person and it seems to be random which one shows up on any given day. However, I hope there's a method to the madness which I haven't yet understood. And then I hope there's some way to influence the madness.
