I know Richard was appointed power of attorney by William to purchase some land for him in 1675 when Richard sailed on the Griffin, along with John Fenwick to America. Richard and William are cousins. I am trying to find the family members that link the two families together. Does anyone have any ideas or clues I could investigate? Thanx for any help you can offer. Richard is my 8th great grandfather.

I wish I could help you. I worked on the Whitacar family because my ggg grandparents were from the same community, both born circa 1775. I have some information in the project you'll see listed, Early Families of Fenwick's Colony / Cumberland County, New Jersey.

I tried to trace each of the families, where possible.
