Hi everyone,

My name is Nicole, I am a historian and I am working for the city archives of Kassel where I am updating and completing the memorial book of Jewish residents of Kassel from 1933 to 1945. I am conducting research in archives, but I am also interested in any information family members might be able to provide. Please do get in touchif you have any information on the Jewish residents of Kassel or if you are looking for more information about a resident of Kassel. My e-mail is nicole.toedtli@kassel.de

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Best,
Nicole

My father's family, the Hattenbach, lived in Kassel before the Second World War. They included my father, Walter, b. 1916, his older brother Arthur, and his younger brother Eric. Their parents were Rudolf and Bertha (geb. Kohlhagen) Hattenbach. All are now deceased. Walter and Eric and their wives were in Kassel for the dedication of the new synagogue in 2001.
You can get in touch with me on Geni or at <marionintx@gmail.com>.
