Greetings,

I work for Geni and we received the following message from a family member who's NOT a Geni user, with the following addition for your consideration:

The page lists 12 of his children, yet he and Bertha Wunderlich had 13 children.

Missing is Harold Wunderlich, born in 1910. Like Frederick and Robert E. Wunderlich, Harold was a minister in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. (FYI, Lorenz Wunderlich was a Professor of Theology at the Concordia Lutheran Seminary in St. Louis.) A family photo circa 1916 lists Harold's name as being spelled "Harald", though he used "Harold" for decades.

Changing the spelling of names may have been common among that generation:
My mother's middle name was given to her as Rosalia, she changed it to Rosalie.
My father's name was given to him as Erich, he changed it to Eric.

By whatever spelling, could my uncle Harold J. Wunderlich be added as the 13th and final child of Frederick and Bertha Wunderlich?

If it is important, the birth order of the 13 children is (from eldest to youngest):

William
Alma
Traugott
Theophil
Ella (not Elle, as it appears on the website)
Renata
Frieda
Walter
Arthur
Lorenz
Roland
Harold
Robert

Thank you for your attention to this request.

kind regards,

Mike at Geni
