I 'think' this is a duplicate profile:

Elizabeth Daniel

Also, in trying to trace a cousin line, I'm confused about the parentage of Elizabeth Coleman who married WIlliam Daniel. I haven't seen any actual proof of who her parents were other than her father's name was Robert Coleman, which is about as common as John Smith. Lots of Roberts in the Coleman lines.

I Googled trying to find some documentation of her parents and this is what I ran into:

This site has a lot of info on the Dnaiel family and mentions wife Elizabeth Coleman but lists no parents for her:

https://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/daniel/5661/

This site mentions Elizabeth and says she's 'thought to be a daughter of Robert Coleman, but it doesn't clarify which Robert Coleman nor give a mother:

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/187518459/william-daniel

This site doesn't even attempt to identify her parents:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Coleman-692

but it does state:

The will of Spilsby Coleman shows that a William Daniel was married to a daughter of Robert Coleman of Caroline County, Virginia as of 1757.[1]

She was mentioned by her given name "Eliza." in the Caroline County, Virginia Order Books on 8 Nov 1753 as the wife of William Daniel Jr., when they acknowledged a deed to Caleb Lindsay.[2]

Again, it's not clarifying which Robert Coleman and lists no mother.

The sites where I see her connected to the parents as connected here on Geni have no documentation to prove the connection, that I've seen so far. Some have her connected to various Robert Spilsbe Colemans with their different wives.

So, I don't know if she is truly my ancestral aunt or exactly how I"m related to her, and I don't trust the pathways from her because I can't trust that she's connected to her true parents.

Does anyone have any actual documentation for her true parents that can be put into her About section to avoid all the confusion? It's better to have what can be documented than speculative connections.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
