In both the baptism certificate for Julia/Francisca de Paula Pick, and the birth certificate for Richard Steutter, the town of "Vlassin" in Bohemia is listed.
IN 1857, the "Illustrirte Zeitung" uses the same spelling to refer to Vlašim in Bohemia:

I think it's likely that this is the town that was meant in the parish books.
