I believe John's wife was Mary Magdalene Lindemuth 1763-1825, daughter of Andrew Lindemuth. John and Mary Magdalene were married 10 June 1781 in Shenandoah Co. VA. Their first known child was George b. 1784; they had seven children.
The brother John Lindamood listed here is actually the same person, with wife Mary Magdalene Lindamood.
