Dr. jur. Friedrich Bischof, retired consul general in Norway, was taken prisoner at his home in Berlin in April/May 1945 by the occupying Russians and taken east. He died there in captivity on 9. November 1945. (Red Cross notification June 1957) His wife's name is Ruth Erika nee von Braumueller.
