FS shows Mary Katonka Hale
MY 4TH COUSIN SEVEN TIMES REMOVED.
Geni shows no blood. I have not worked on this line very much and not since nearly a year ago.

FS shows parents https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/L2DV-5S4, https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/LHVM-3R7 and says she may have been Choctaw

I have tried to confirm that Mary is of Choctaw ancestry, but have not been able to verify. She may have Native American heritage, but it is doubtful she was Choctaw due to the fact of the location of her birthplace. The Choctaw (in the Choctaw language, Chahta) are a Native American people originally based in the Southeastern Woodlands, in what is now Alabama and Mississippi.
