If this is the same Hugo Rauh, he was born in 1856 in Germany, emigrated to the USA in 1877, married Anna in 1880, and died in 1924 in Newark, New Jersey. He was the father of my paternal grandmother, Anna Frances Rauh Niebling.

Sorry, I don't think this is the same Hugo Rauh. This one was born on Feb 28 1863 in Essingen/ Pfalz . He married Rosalia Braun in Essingen in 1884. And there is a record of him still living in Essingen in 1889.
