Hopefully someone on the Woolfe side of the family will read this. To the best of my knowledge I am John's 2nd cousin twice removed. I have just found good evidence that my great grandmother (Amelia Phillips nee Woolfe) father was Myer Woolfe. Myer was Joseph Woolfe's brother. Jospeh was John's grandfather. We seem to have lost all contact with the Woolfe side of the family (which is amazing as Amelia lived with my dad in her later years).
If anyone reads this on the Woolfe side and is happy to conenct to see/confirm the connection and shed any light on the family that would be great. Would love to know how John got into Motor Racing
