@ I am trying to get roll of soldiers who fought at the Great Bridge in 1775 under General Robert Howe. I understand that one or more companies came from Bute Co, NC and went with him to Norfolk and fought at the Great Bridge. I am trying to get my 4th GG Thomas Colbert admitted to the SAR. He also spelled his name as Calvert, Colvard, + variations.
