Are they the same?
John Henry Monger
Wives are different though

Dear Peter
I don't think Mary Bainbridge is correct and I have changed her profile maiden name on the record I managed to Taylor having rechecked lots of records this afternoon which will now create duplicate records.
See https://gw.geneanet.org/evansm?lang=en&iz=0&p=john+henry&am... I found in my fossicking and don't think this is a correct record but I am not in a position to know any more than is shown in this tree.
My starting point for this branch of the tree ages ago was from the amazing book 'The House of the Northbourne Parkers by Barbara Sewell. Followed by searching through Trove digitised newspapers but somewhere I have gone astray or lost concentration. so sorry to have caused this incorrect connection and hopefully after logging off and returning tomorrow the records will be highlighted as duplicate and we should be able to correct from there. Might need help from a curator at some stage.
I do hope all will be correct this time tomorrow.
Thank you very much for pointing this error out to me
Best wishes
Mary

Another reference Peter.

It is hard for me to know how much truth there is and guess some DNA tests might help clarify but project to big for me to tackle. It is hard to know who is copying whom too!!

The Jack Mungar Bennell might well be where the confusion is coming from. He is a different person to John Henry Monger, but various smart matches seem to combine the two.

There is an interesting notation on his wikitree profile which might explain some of this

Private User has now combined the wives into
Mary Monger

Anyhow. Back to John Henry Monger

I think that some of his children have been duplicated upon his brother's tree Stephen John Monger managed by Private User
Ive asked Private User to curate his profile so we can all look at the extended Monger family

When did brother Stephen arrive in WA?

Looking at stories Jack BENNELL might have been called Mungar due to being born at Monger Lakes rather than because he was the son of John MONGER. Hard to tell.

This is where the confusion about who is John Henry Monger's wife seems to come from:

Which was found referenced in Jack Bennell's wikitree profile
