Wikitree at < link >lists Ephraim as son of Samuel Wilson (b. 2 July 1710), son of Ephraim Wilson and Elizabeth Davis, and a wife seen as Elizabeth Holbrook, who was born at Cecil, Maryland in 1740. Ephraim Wilson, Sheriff of Somerset County emigrated there from Killybegs, Donegal in the Ulster Plantation.

However, the MilesFiles at < link > does not show that Samuel with any wife other than Martha Wilson and Martha did not have a son Ephraim.
WeRelate at < link > has an unsourced tree listing him as the son of Samuel’s brother, Thomas Wilson, Died young with a wife Elizabeth (unknown).
