How could the Hortons land in Hampton MA, which is miles away from the Atlantic coast? Isn't it more likely that the Swallow landed in Hampton NH, then worked their way to the Long Island sound and sailed to Southold?

It was definitely Hampton NH, which at the time was part of Massachusetts.

Thanks Rebecca, is there any record of the Horton using the Swallow to move from NH to Conn and then across the Sound to Southold? While I'm aware of a lot of info about the Long Island Hortons, the journey to get there from England must have been fascinating.

Related is the timeline, as I believe that the Swallow landed in America maybe 15 years after the Mayflower landed in Plymouth. How did they know the route as there couldn't have been any charts to speak of?
