I was told to start a discussion here I believe this man and this man https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McElveen-8 are entirely 2 different people whoever created the wikitree profile has this man’s parents attached to him but the man on wikitree has different spouse and kid (the man ion wikitree is supposed to be my friends ancestor and he’s claiming decent to the Lords of Gimmet through this man and on Family Search someone added a whole bunch of kids to John Mcllvane and Sarah Clark yeah s whole lot of research needs to be done to figure this mess out but I’m fairly certain my friend isn’t related to this family the way they think
I unhooked the person from Wikitree and FS so they are not erroneously added to this family since that person doesn’t belong to this family but would still like to help my friend figure out how he may be related if they really are
