Benjamin Tilley - Surname

Benjamin (TYLEY) was born on the 6th June 1855 at Wells Workhouse in Somerset England, he was the illegitimate son of Jane Tyley of Westbury in Somerset, she died at the Workhouse on 12th July 1855. Benjamin was originally named Edwin but changed his Christian name to Benjamin before 1871 and is listed in the Census of Wells as (Benjamin Tiley) there seams to be a different spelling of this surname over a period of time, by 1881 Benjamin had moved the Marcross in Glamorganshire Wales, by this time he is listed as Benjamin Tyley. He was my great-grandfather.
