On the 1941 Slovak census, there is a Matilda Klein (nee Grünfeld) whose birth date and town matches this Matilda. I believe they are the same person and that Grünfeld was her surname at birth, not Grünwald. Marton Grünfeld, who lived in Murán, was a first cousin (through his father) of the Matilda Klein whose grandson became the actor Tony Curtis. Marton's parents were Jozsef Grünfeld and Maria Klein. His daughter, Margaret, married Ignatz Klein from Halič and emigrated to NY. According to their son, Matilda had three sisters: Berta, Regina, and Iren. Iren married Albert Klein. Regina married a man by the name of Schneider. Berta married a Frauzblau.
