Need a review of some profiles and history for Elias Jernigan of Horry The only Jernigan listed in the Horry County census was Thomas Jernigan. The name Thomas poses a problem as there it is popular among the lines as noted here

The above needs more sources for so many people listed, I think but I want to go through it and see if there is anything feasible to follow up on.
We know that Malinda Griffin was a Jernigan based on death certificates of her children and about the age to be a daughter of Elias and Mary Jernigan She also had children named Elias and Mary.
Will post census ticks later, but I think that Malinda is a daughter of Elias and Mary Floyd Jernigan. More research needed. Some DNA would help.
