Deleting people added to my family tree who are not related to me and we’re added by others

A few years ago someone appended their family tree to mine. I didn’t believe that I was related to these people so I contacted the person that added them. I never received a response. Is there some way that I could remove these people from my family tree and keep this individual from adding people to my family tree in the future?
