John Nelson Wilson - John Nelson Wilson's Father

Tried to post a discussion regarding John Nelson Wilson'sJohn Nelson Wilson father, but it doesn't appear to have posted, so I'll try again. I see here that his father is listed as George Wilson. I have tried for 30 years to verify his father, and I have seen narratives of two different George Wilson's with no real records or information to corroborate his father.

If anyone has any data or evidence of John Nelson Wilson's father, I'd love to have it. John Nelson Wilson is buried in Antioch Cemetary in Logan County Kentucky just a few tenths of a mile from where my father grew up. I have visited his childhood home area (New Roe Community in Allen County Kentucky) and visited the cemetaries and grave sites of his relatives. What I cannot definitively determine is his father. It appears he came with or was born to the group of Wilsons living there who emigrated from Virgina in the late 1700s/early 1800s. Any help is appreciated.
