Nicholas E. Rice - Conflicting Info

This Nicholas E. Rice has conflicting sets of parents and also conflicting mtDNA haplogroups, so clearly one set of his parents is incorrect. There arent' any notes in his profile to clarify which parents are correct. So, I can't determine if he's my cousin via the line of Jane Mills Rice or not related to me at all.

Thanks in advance for any clarification / correction so the pathways are accurate.

I Googled trying to sort the conflicting parents out for myself. What I found is:

starts the genealogy with this Nicholas as Generation 1 with no known parents for him.

Same here:

However, Wiki has him as the son of Thomas Rice and Jane Mills:

Family Search shows totally different parents for him but without sources / documentation:

Parents are listed as Nicklaus Reis Sr, and Martha Dester,

I didn't find Nicklaus and Martha listed anywhere else as his parents.

Additionally, not a single site came up in my search showing Nicholas' parents as John RIce, Esq. and Mary Finney.

Since this is only a potential cousin line for me, I'm hoping the profile managers can sort all this and fix the connections here on Geni. Thanks.
