Ok I worked out why I got them mixed up, there was a Catherine Lynch born to Peter and Mary Lynch of Carnaross in August 1871 - this isn't our Catherine O'Connor though because on her marriage certificate it lists her father as Edward not Peter. She was actually born in Moynalty in Oct 1868. At the time of marriage she is listed as residing in Woodpole, so I guess she moved there as a teacher prior to meeting and marrying John.
