Dicey Esther Colburn (Polk) - Dicey Polk

I believe the only children Dicey had were born by 1824 b/c she died that year. One was William J. Coburn, my Great Great Grandfather. Francis Doon went on to marry Elizabeth and toward the end of his life, Cynthia, if I'm recalling correctly. Anyone have any proof of Dicey's existence? She's not mentioned in her father's will b/c she died before him. Alabama (if that's where she died) didn't keep death records at that time. I can't find a census with her name on it as well as no mention of her death in the newspapers. I do have a news article pertaining to a law suit over money from a will. The husband of her sister (Martha Patsy) is wanting his share. If anyone has any proof of life, please share. TIA, Tricia thluvretirement@gmail.com
