Joseph Hooper - Finding sources for dates/locations

A lot of on-line trees list Joseph as being born in 1685, because they aren't realizing he was baptized in 1685 at the age of 12.

Also, while it's been hypothesized that he was the mariner who died in Providence in 1727, I can't find any proof of the connection.

Would anyone like to help firm up the birth/death info with solid sources?

For now, I have locked the data fields to prevent people from continuously re-adding the wrong birth date and the unproven death info.
