Sir Thomas Framer Ligon, II - Need correct Burial date, please assist in reviewing.

Found the original burial record for Sir Thomas Lygon. It appears to read the 24th day of December 1626 for the burial date. My opinion, they buried the people soon after death, not 6 days later. We have his death as the 20th, does this document read the 20th?

My eyes aren't what they used to be, can you all please look over and assist? Thank you
