Does anyone know where the location Tennessee Hills, Sullivan County, Tennessee came from? Sullivan County, Tennessee is almost the most northern and eastern county in Tennessee.
I'm just curious because {Unknown} Harvey had to die between the 1820 and the 1830 Census. In 1820 the family is still in Iredell County, NC. According to the births of the other children, in 1825 Martha J was born in Lumpkin Co, GA; by 1827, James C was born in McMinn County, TN and Lydia Caroline was born in 1833 in McMinn County. I feel confident she died in McMinn County, Tennessee, but have not found any documentation. But, I haven't been able to find any documentation of the family in the northeast portion of Tennessee, mostly just more southward in east Tennessee. Any information is greatly appreciated.
