Maybe I can help you a bit. I have the AV Calhoun Family Bible. I descend from his son John Phillip Calhoun, my grandfather.
In that Bible are two more children of Abram Virgil and Susan Jenkins Calhoun whom I am very aware of their descendants.
The two are as follows: William Jamison Calhoun, born 22 January 1892 in Swain County, NC, and died 25 August 1929. He married Bonnie Slaughter on 3 Dec 1909. and had two children, Virginia Calhoun and Wallace Calhoun.
The other child of Abram Virgil Calhoun was Dora Anna Calhoun, born 4 April 1896 in Swain County, NC, and she died 17 August 1923 of TB, Dora married Thomas Jefferson Jones, but they had no children.
