The marriage was august 8 a sunday not september 9 a tuesday. The handwritten written record is coprrect, the interpretation typed in source is wrong in my opinion: the fractional day/month day 9 over month 8 (9/8/1863 for august 9 is often read as september 8th in USA.
in handwritten recorce date is 63 9/8 (9 over 8) which is august 9th 1863.
