We know from the Mississippi records he had sons David and Rev Randall Gibson besides Reuben.
He was father of John Gibson who married Agnes Adair, daughter of Cherokee/Chickasaw Trader James Adair, Author of History of Indians published in 1775.
John Gibson was killed by Indians at Fort Nashville, the family came from Mississippi to move her and children to Mississippi.
William may be the first son born to Gibeon in 1743 - listed as mother "Mary'' not Martha. Mary may have been a 1st wife, Martha the 2nd- Randall Lee and McKinely named his wife as Mary O'Connell also. ??
