Mayflower Families thru 5 Gene.- Stephen Hopkins-pg. 10/23-says b. prob. in abt. 1642 Eastham. Jabez Snow was admitted a freeman at Eastham on 7 Jun 1681, and he served there as a surveyor of highways and selectman. As lieutenant he engaged in the expedition to Canada of 1690.
Administration of the estate of Lt. Jabez Snow of Eastham included the taking of an inventory on 20 Apr 1691 and settlement on 8 Apr 1695. The inventory was sworn to on 22 Apr 1691 by "Elizabeth ye Relict of Liut Jebez SNOW."
After allowance for the widow's thirds in 1695, the court ordered distribution to his nine children, including three sons, specifically designated as Jebez SNOW, eldest; Edward SNOW, second and Thomas SNOW, third. The six daus. were mot named.
