There is a marriage of Mary Herbert of Ampney Crucis to John Badway in 1777, but it seems likely this is a different Mary, and this one died before 1767, as there is a baptism of a Mary Herbert to the same parents in Harnhill (of Ampney Crucis) that year. there were several children born to a Richard & Deborah Herbert in the 1750's in Ampney Crucis, possibly a brother of Robert. There is a 14 July 1767 burial of a Mary Harbert in 1767, however the 2nd Mary was baptised in April, before this death, making it unlikely this is the first Mary. The 1767 burial could either be an infant death of the later Mary, or her mother Mary Sly.
The other alternative is the 1767 death was to another Herbert household
in Ampney Crucis with a Mary daughter, No indications so far though.
Regardless, there are clearly two Mary's born to Robert & Mary, so
this elder one must have passed before April 1767.
