Possibly his birth record? https://www.epaveldas.lt/preview?id=1679%2F1%2F11&wr=186

As found on profile for Julius John Prakapas

Need to translate and see if there's good reason for the 10 Aug vs 19 Aug birthday -- was the latter actually Baptism date? Did he choose "10" out of a hat after coming to the US?

Record #127 is the birth and baptism of Julijonas Prakapas. Parents are Florijonas Prakapas and Marijona Bledaitė. Julijonas was born 19 August 1881 in Dobrovolė and baptized 23 August 1881 in Nedzingė.

In those days, many people may not have known their actual date of birth as they were not asked about it until coming to the US. Some did find out their date of birth before coming to the US because others who came before them told them it would be asked. (Also, the calendar used by the churches was the Julian calendar during that time while the US used the Gregorian calendar which are about 12 days apart, depending on the year. It's unlikely that this matters here, but it's worth mentioning.)

Given the less common names of Julijonas and his parents, I would say that this can be correctly referred to as his birth record. I will attach it as a source, tag the mentioned profiles and identify them in the record.

Andrea Rogers-Valen , thank you so much for keeping this moving!! Very exciting to confirm my family's roots!

The record is in Russian; therefore they, then, used the Gregorian calendar while we use the Julian and there is a difference in the date listed.
