I inherited this profile when my wife's cousin, Larry (Steve) Roach, who added it, left geni, leaving me manager of it. Steve had 1882 as date of death. Upon a merge today, I noticed this date conflicts with the picture of the tombstone which has date of death of 1881. Actually, the tombstone looks like it says 1891 to me, but I can't really tell.
I don't know where Steve got the dates of birth or death but I thought I would put this note on this profile for future reference, in case another merge attempts to reconcile these dates.
