I am deeply saddened for the people of Haiti which is the poorest of all countries in the Western Hemisphere. Having spent a month in Haiti working among the people in the captial and in the mountains, I just hope the exposure they are getting will wake us up to the poverty that has been strangling them for years. 95% of their dwellings are made out of mud or tin and their waters are polutted. Let's do what we can, even if it's just continue to follow thier story and pray.
