I was thinking it would be really fun if we could all add a quick memory,story, event that you remember growing up in our family. It would be a way to continue to keep in touch and remember memories.Add as many as you like:) here we go!
So growing up in our home.....
So, you met someone and they say,"How many people in YOUR family?"They ask as if it is just another routine question of the day until you say 12. Suddenly the response is changed from their intended initial thought of"that's nice." to, "WOW! Just like the brady bunch!" to which I respond, except "double!". The next sentence is usually asked about logicistics such as where do you sleep and eat etc as if we lived in a bungalow. Imagine the shock to hear that some of us shared a room and some actually had their own room!
