A letter written in the early fall of 1784 from Cherokee leaders Corn Tassel and Oconostota to trader and trusted go-between LeRoy Hammond of SC, along with Hammond's response. Hammond forwarded it to the SC Governor Guerard who forwarded it to Congress.
