About худ. Елиезeр Алшех

Eliezer Alcheh is born in Vidin, Bulgaria in 1908. He studies painting in Munich’s Fine Arts Academy, taught by professors as Schinnerer in drawing and Caspar in painting. Afterwards he lives and works for a year in Belgium. The canvas Anvers (1934), painted in this year, is exhibited now in Sofia’s National Gallery. In 1934 he returns tu Bulgaria where his first exhibit takes place, causing a big impression in Bulgarian culture. He joins a group of young bulgarian painters, called the new ones, group that leaves a very profound trace in the developement of bulgarian painting. He is part of several collective exhibits in Pargue, Munich and Berlin (1935-36). In 1936 he travels to Palestine. With what he paints there, an exhibit is organized in Belgrad with great succes. He then moves to Paris, showing his work in the salons Automne, Petit Palais y Tuillerie. After his time in Paris he moves to Venice. From this time are Canale Grande and many others show in Sofia’s National Gallery. In 1938 he moves back to Bulgaria. He starts to prepare a new exhibit in Paris, but then there is war, and almost all artistic activities are interrupted. After war, though artistic activities are back, Eastern Europe goes through a very complex political moment what makes him decide to leave his country. In 1951 he moves definitely to Buenos Aires, Argentina. In between, he lives in Milan for a year, painting both Milan and Venice. Once he is installed in Buenos Aires, he organizes his first exhibit in 1953 in Gallery Bonino. In 1956 he participates in the 45 National Salon of Plastic Arts, obtaining the third price in drawing. He participates in several national exhibitions. In 1958 he begins to teach in the National School of Fine Arts Manuel Belgrano, where he teaches until 1973. In 1975 he is invited by the Bulgarian Painters Union to Sofia, where they organize an exhibition with his Argentinean work. Most of these paintings are acquired by Sofia’s Nacional Gallery, where they are exposed nowadays. Alcheh dies in 1983 in Buenos Aires. In 1990 a personal exhibit is organized in the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires, as well as another one in 2000 in the Sivori Museum.

Роден е на 12 ноември 1908 г. във Видин. През 1933 г. завършва в Мюнхен Държавната академия на изящните изкуства при Карл Каспар и Адолф Шинерер. След завършването си живее в Белгия, Германия, Франция, Португалия и Испания. Завръща се в България през 1934 г. и представя първата си самостоятелна изложба. През 1935-1936 г. пътува из Турция, Гърция, Италия, Алжир и Тунис. Прави и пътуване до Палестина, като с картините, нарисувани там, прави самостоятелна изложба в Белград през 1937 г. След това заминава за Венеция. Завръща се отново в България през 1938 г. Изпратен е в еврейски трудов лагер до 1941 г. През 1946 г. прави втората си самостоятелна изложба в България. След това заминава за Милано и Венеция, а през 1951 г., заедно със съпругата си Бронка Гюрова-Алшех, се установява в Буенос Айрес. От 1958 г. преподава в Държавното училище за изобразително изкуство „Мануел Белграно“ в Буенос Айрес. През 1975 г. по покана на Съюза на българските художници прави самостоятелна изложба на картини, нарисувани в Аржентина.[1][2][3]
