About 1Lt Thomas Arthur Peacock
Thomas Arthur Peacock, son of Moses B. and Alma V. (Harvey) Peacock, died in an automobile accident along with his mother. His father and wife were injured in the accident which happened on a country road a few miles west of Palouse.
Thomas was a graduate of Washington State college and had taken his law degree at the University of Michigan earlier in the month of the accident. He had planned to practice law in Spokane and Pullman.
He was a veteran of World War II, having landed on D-Day with the 101st airborne paratroopers in Normandy. He was a first lieutenant.
