Married the widower Johann Friesen who had had six children from his first marriage to Anna Friesen. Of the six he brought only 3 to his second wife. the other three having died in infancy. She and Johann Thiessen then had another 13 children of which seven died in infancy. Johann and Katharina Thiessen moved to Manitoba and died in Steinbach.
