English Monarch. Queen consort of King Edward III. The daughter of William III "The Good", Count of Hainault and Jean de Valois, she married Edward on January 24, 1328. She often accompanied him on this foreign travels, and Edward was devoted to her. The couple had 13 children, including 5 sons whose rivalry would later set into motion the Wars of the Roses.
