MyHeritage See below for other examples of this error. This is wrong. Sir George Simpson was the bastard son of George Simpson, writer in Dingwall Red River Ancestry and Margaret Cargill's husband was a fisherman at Newhaven of Ethie in Angus. This is confirmed by the death registration of their daughter Janet Simpson.
