Lina Morgenstern (25 November 1830 in Breslau – 16 December 1909 in Berlin) was a German writer, educator, feminist and pacifist.
She was born to a Jewish family committed to social causes. She married Theodor Morgenstern in 1850 and they moved to Berlin. She started writing mainly articles about education and children's care when her husband started having some financial problems. In 1859 her daughter Olga was born, and that year, Adolf Lette and she founded a system of transportation[clarification needed] for kindergartens, and she later followed projects such as Volksküche during Austro-Prussian War.In 1896, she organised the Internationaler Kongress für Frauenwerke und Frauenbestrebungen in Berlin and she entered in the directive committee of the German Peace Society (DFG) in 1897.
