8 daughters, no sons (NEB genealogy)
In the spring of 1797 Moses Chapin made four chairs for his brother, Aaron Chapin, in Salisbury, Conn. Three of those chairs are in existence in good state of preservation, and have been in continual use up to this date, May, 1907. One in Springfield, Long Island, owned by Clara Walwrath, great grand-daughter. One is in DeWitt, New York, owned by Martha Lewis, grand-daughter, and one by Helen Beattie, great great grand-daughter, at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. (This information contributed by "Uncle" Sidney Lewis, husband of Martha Wilcox.) (NEB genealogy)
Aaron, the second son, b. 27 Feb. 1779, married in Salisbury Martha (Patty) Brundage, about 1800, and moved to Pompey, N.Y., and in time his daughter, Theodosia, married Grandison Wilcox. (NEB genealogy)
