- The Copp Family in NH by Frank Ferrin, pg. 3: Although the son's name was not given in this letter to the Council, future reference do so....Aaron Copp first appears in Haverhill. In 1702 a John Tuxebury of Amesbury deeded property to Aaron Copp and his wife, and their children. John Tuxebury was the son of the 2nd husband of Martha Copp, dau. of William Copp of Boston and the deed offers strong evidence to support the theory of relationship between Martha Copp Tuxebury and Aaron.
